Christian Mansell made his single-seater debut in 2019 in the New South Wales Formula Race Car Championship. He also contested in the Australian Formula 4 Championship the same year. In 2020, Mansell raced in the F4 British Championship where he scored 5 podiums including 1 win and finished the season in 7th place. 

In 2021, Mansell raced in the GB3 Championship where he scored 5 podiums including 2 wins and finished the season in 3rd place. Mansell made his F3 debut in 2022 replacing Zdenek Chovanec and had two decent weekends with a best finish of 22nd. For the 2023 season, Mansell is set to make his full-time debut in Formula 3 with Campos Racing.
