Jak Crawford made his single-seater debut in the 2018-19 NACAM Formula 4 Championship driving for Scuderia Martiga EG. He scored 14 podiums including 6 wins and finished the year in 2nd place. In 2020, Crawford contested in both the ADAC Formula 4 Championship and the Italian F4 Championship. He scored 12 podiums including 5 wins and finished in 2nd place in the former and 7 podiums including 2 wins and finished in 6th place in the latter. 

In 2021, Crawford made his FIA Formula 3 Championship with Hitech Grand Prix. He scored a podium and finished the season in 13th place. He also competed in the Euroformula Open Championship with Team Motopark alongside his F3 campaign. He scored 10 podiums including 8 wins and finished the season in 3rdplace. In 2022, the American driver switched to Prema Racing and scored 3 podiums which let him finish in 7thplace. For the 2023 season Crawford is set to move up to Formula 2 to race for Hitech Grand Prix.
