Oliver Gray made his single-seater debut in both the 2021 F4 British Championship and the Italian F4 Championship. He scored 2 wins and finished the season in 7th in the former. In 2022, Gray contested in the Formula 4 UAE Championship and scored a podium. He also contested in the F4 British Championship the same year and with 16 podiums including 2 wins, he finished the season in 2nd place. 

For the 2023 season, Gray is set to make the move up to Formula 3 to drive for Carlin.
