Mari Boya made his car racing debut in the 2020 F4 Spanish Championship with MP Motorsport. He won three races during his debut season and finished the season 3rd in the drivers’ standings. Boya made his debut in the Formula Regional European Championship in 2021 with Van Amersfoort Racing. The Spanish driver scored one podium during the season and ended in 14th in the drivers’ standings. 

For the 2022 Formula Regional European Championship, Boya joined ART Grand Prix. Unfortunately, after the sixth round of the season, Boya was replaced by Esteban Masson. Boya was then drafted to replace Michael Belov at MP Motorsport for the rest of the season. For 2023, alongside a full campaign with MP Motorsport in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship, Boya is set to drive for MP Motorsport in Formula 3.
