Upon his return to Formula E in 2018/19, Frijns completed 5 seasons with Envision Racing. However, he has decided to change things up for Gen3 and Season 9, moving to ABT Sportsline for the German team’s FE comeback. 

The Dutchman is a well experienced Formula E driver – racing for Andretti in the 2015/16 and 2017/18 campaigns, followed by a 5-season stint with Envision Racing. Therefore, Frijns is known for being fast, consistent, and always a frontrunner. During the 2021/22 campaign, Frijns once again proved that he is a consistent performer, with podiums in Diriyah, Rome and a double in New York. Will the Dutchman continue his great run of form with ABT in Season 9?
