Fernando Alonso has caused shockwaves this season as he found himself back on the podium three race weekends in a row. But the question is, is Fernando Alonson in his prime AGAIN?

In 2001, Alonso made his debut with Minardi before joining Renault as a test driver the year later.
The Spaniard became the youngest World Champion in 2005 at the age of 24 years and 58 days with Renault.
In 2006, he then became the youngest double World Champion after an intense battle with Ferrari legend Michael Schumacher.
The 41-year-old moved seats to McLaren a year later but ended up moving back to Renault after a difficult season with the team.
With a move to Ferrari in 2010 to partner up with Brazilian driver Felipe Massa, Alonso managed four years with the Italian team with 2012 being one of his most successful seasons to date despise missing out on the title to four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel.

McLaren now with Honda engines, met up for the second time with Alonso but that season wasn’t what Alonso had initially hoped for.
A faulty power unit for the entire season meant Alonso only managed to finish 17th in the driver standings with two points to his name.
Alonso returned to the sports back in 2021 and joined BWT Alpine F1 team, previously known as Renault Sport F1 team.
From his first race at the Australian Grand Prix 22 years ago, to the season-opener two weeks ago at Bahrain, Alonso has managed: 22 poles, 32 wins, 98 podiums and 23 fastest laps.
Now racing alongside Canadian Lance Stroll, Alonso is off to a flying start with new Formula One family Aston Martin.
The British team signed a muti-year contract back in August 2022 with the driver, but Alonso later revealed that the contract was only two years.
Aston Martin team principal Mike Krack admitted that there is a possibility of Alonso staying behind at Aston Martin in a management role after he retires from his driving career.
Fans think that Alonso could be in with a change of winning another world title but will he be able to beat the seemingly unbeatable Red Bull this season?
