Pedro Acosta burst onto the World Championship scene in 2020 entering Moto3 with Red Bull KTM Ajo. He turned heads immediately with an unbelievable rookie season. He took p2 in the opening round of the season and then one race later, he took his first victory despite starting from the pitlane. He took three more victories in 2020 and another podium which then sealed him the Championship. 

Acosta made the move to Moto2 in 2021 and although he took 2 wins and 2 podiums, a championship fight never really materialised for the young spaniard. Things got better in 2022 for Acosta with 7 victories he took the Moto2 title with 2 races to spare. Acosta moves into MotoGP in 2024 with GASGAS and will be sure to cause a stir in his rookie season.
