Marco Bezzecchi made his Moto3 debut in 2015 with two wildcard appearances. He competed in two more Moto3 races the following year. 2017 was the year that Bezzecchi competed in Moto3 fulltime with Mahindra CIP. He achieved his maiden podium in Japan and finished the season in 23rd overall. Bezzecchi moved to Pruestel GP for the 2018 Moto3 season. He achieved nine podiums including three wins to finish the year in 3rd overall. Bezzecchi moved up to Moto2 with Red Bull KTM Tech3 for 2019. It was a tough rookie season for the Italian, finishing in the points only four times. Bezzecchi joined the Sky Racing Team VR46 for the 2020 season. He achieved seven podiums including two wins and finished the year in 4th overall. He remained with the team for the 2021 season and with seven podiums including one win, he finished 3rd in the championship. For the 2022 season Bezzecchi moved up to MotoGP with the Mooney VR46 Racing Team. He achieved his first premier class podium at the Dutch TT and his first pole position at the Thai Grand Prix. For 2023, Bezzecchi remains with the Mooney VR46 Racing Team alongside Luca Marini.
