Ido Cohen made his single-seater debut in 2018 in both the Italian F4 Championship and the ADAC Formula 4 Championship. He finished 30th overall in the former and 19th in the latter. Cohen remained in both series for 2019 but would be more successful with finishing 6th in Italian F4 and 13th in ADAC Formula 4. Cohen raced full time in the Euroformula Open Championship in 2020 where he finished 7th in the standings with 2 podiums. 

In 2021, Cohen raced for Carlin Buss Racing in the FIA Formula 3 Championship where he finished 24thoverall. He remained in the series for 2022 but switched to drive for Jenzer Motorsport, he once again finished 24th overall. For the 2023 season, Cohen is set to return to race for Carlin in the series.
