Kevin Magnussen has competed in a number of motorsport categories however he began his Formula 1 career in 2014 with McLaren.

Magnussen spent two seasons with McLaren where he earnt his first podium. The following season, he joined Renault for a year and then made his way to Haas where he spent four years there.

Having a Father, Jan Magnussen, who also is a professional racing driver meant that racing was always on the cards with Kevin Magnussen. They've even raced together in Le Mans together.

In 2021, Magnussen made the move to IMSA driving for Ganassi Racing but as 2022 rolled around, was sprung back into Formula 1.

Magnussen's return to Formula 1 was very strange, he replaced Nikita Mazepin at Haas last minute following the Russian attack on Ukraine.
