Roman Stanek made his single-seater debut at the last round of the 2019 Formula 4 UAE Championship as a guest driver. He also competed in both the ADAC Formula 4 and Italian F4 championships in 2019. He racked up 3 race wins and 9 podiums across the two series and won the Rookies’ Championship in the ADAC F4 series. Stanek moved up to FIA Formula 3 to drive for Prema Powerteam. It was a tough season for the Czech with him only scoring points at the penultimate round in Monza. 

For 2021, Stanek competed in both the F3 Asian Championship and FIA Formula 3 to drive for Hitech Grand Prix. He finished in 10th place in the F3 Asian Championship and 16th in the FIA Formula 3. For the 2022 season, Stanek moved to Trident for the FIA Formula 3 championship. The Czech driver won his first victory in Imola and continued with good form by finished 2nd in the next race. With a total of 4 podiums including 1 win, Stanek finished the year in 5th place. For the 2023 season, Stanek is being promoted to Formula 2 with Trident.
