Oscar Piastri is an Australian Racing driver who debuted in 2023 with McLaren.

In 2022, it was widely reported that Piastri was set to join the grid however many expected his seat to be at the French team Alpine due to the fact Piastri was a part of their driver academy.

Alpine announced that Piastri was joining the team, however this announcement was met the following day with Piastri saying that he would not be racing with the team.

It was later announced that Piastri had in fact signed a contract with McLaren replacing fellow Aussie, Daniel Ricciardo.

Due to Piastri's increidble junior career, he's expected to perform well in the senior class of Formula 1.
