Frederick Vesti made his Formula 3 debut in 2020 with Prema Racing. Vesti had a strong start and scored his maiden win at the third round of the season. The Danish driver went on to score another 2 wins and a podium that season and finished the season 4th overall. Vesti switched to ART Grand Prix for the 2021 season and equalled his season finish of 4th overall with 5 podiums. 

Vesti moved up to Formula 2 with ART Grand Prix for the 2022 season. Although he had a poor start to the season, he scored his maiden podium in Barcelona. He then went on to score his first victory at the Le Castellet round. Vesti finished the season in 9th overall after winning a further 3 podiums. For the 2023 season it was announced that Vesti would move to Prema Racing alongside British rookie Oliver Bearman.
