Roberto Faria made his single-seater debut in 2019 in the F4 British Championship racing for Fortec Motorsports. Although it was a tough season, he would finish 11th in the standings with a best finish of 4thplace. He remained in the series for 2020 and scored 2 podiums which allowed him to finish 10th overall. For 2021, Faria contested in both the GB3 Championship and the F3 Asian Championship. In the former, he scored 9 podiums including 1 win and finished the year in 5th place overall. 

In 2022, the Brazilian driver remained in the GB3 Championship where he scored 6 podiums and finished in 5th overall once again. For the 2023 season, Faria is set to contest in Formula 3 driving for PHM Racing by Charouz.
