Pol Espargaro participated in the last six races of the 2006 125cc World Championship. Two months prior to this, he had a wildcard appearance at the Catalan Grand Prix and made history to become the youngest ever point scorer in a Grand Prix. In 2007 he made his full-time debut in the 125cc class and was able to score his first podium. He remained in the 125cc class until the end of 2010 and racked up a total of 5 wins, 21 podiums and 3 pole positions. The younger Espargaro brother moved up to Moto2 for the 2011 season. He achieved 2 podiums in his rookie season. In the 2012 season Espargaro achieved 11 podiums including 4 wins to finish 2nd in the championship. In the 2013 season, Pol achieved 10 podiums including 6 wins and won the championship. 

 

For the 2014 season, Pol moved up to MotoGP with the Monster Yamaha Tech3 team. He remained with the team from 2014 until the end of 2016 before moving to the new Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team for 2017. Espargaro was with KTM for four seasons and achieved a total of 6 podiums and 2 pole positions. For the 2021 season, Espargaro moved to the Repsol Honda Team. It was a tough 2 years at Honda for Espargaro, but he did achieved 2 podiums and a pole position. For the 2023 season, Espargaro moves back to KTM this time with the GasGas Factory Racing Tech3.
